If you do not see your co-instructor(s) or TA(s) listed in the Available Instructors list on the Instructors tab of your Instructor Portal, you can use the Create New Instructor Account button at the bottom of the page.
To create a new account, you will need your co-instructor's or TA's first name, last name, and email address. You will also need to specify their User Type. Once the new account is created, our system will send a confirmation email to the email address you entered.
Note: Co-instructor and TA accounts cannot be created with email addresses already associated with student SimUText accounts. If you have an alternative email, you can create their instructor account with that. For example, if the existing student account is associated with a school email, you can create the Co-instructor or TA account with a personal email address. However, if you would like the Co-instructor or TA account to use the same email address associated with the student account, please submit a ticket to SimBio's Tech Support, and we can create the account(s) for you.
