While the vast majority of questions in SimBio modules are autograded, there are a few essay or other questions that we cannot auto-grade at this time. The Ask Your Instructor questions at the end of each chapter are also not autograded. You can view answers to all of these questions in either the Student Detail or Question Detail views.
In Student Detail, find the student whose answer you wish to view, click on the question, and you will see their answer displayed there.
In Question Detail, find the ungraded question, and click on it to display more details. In the bottom right of the expanded detail view for that question, click on the Show Student Answer List button to see a list of all registered students and their answers. You can select these to copy and paste them to another location if desired.
There is currently no way to assign points to answers that are not autograded. If you would find this feature useful, please let us know, as we are deciding how to prioritize such a feature.
