After your SimUText is set up, you can choose the Gradebook tab from the menu on the left side of the page.
Students subscribed to the SimUText are listed, along with links to email them.
Once you have created assignments, the Gradebook will display the total points possible and individual scores for all assignments. Student scores are not displayed until after the assignment due date in order to factor in late work penalties.
Sorting and Filtering
You can sort your Gradebook by your students' first names, last names, or total scores by clicking on the teal headers of those columns.
To find one particular student, start typing either the first or last name of the student in the "Student Search" box above the Gradebook.
If your SimUText has sections, you can select a section from the Section drop-down list above the Gradebook.
To change how many students are listed at a time, click one of the number buttons at the bottom right of the student list.
Assignments
Student scores appear in the Gradebook only after the due date has passed. The number of possible points for the assignment appears under the assignment's name. Under that, you can see the due date for the assignment. If you click on the due date, you will be brought to the Assignment page, where you can do things like set a date to publish scores or edit the assignment name. If you click on a student's individual score for an assignment, you will be brought to their Student Detail page for that assignment on the Performance page.
